Privacy notice

Last updated: October 2026

This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit mattharker.co.uk or get in touch with me. I'm Matt Harker, and I'm responsible for your information. You can contact me at hello@mattharker.co.uk.

What I collect

If you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, company (if you give it) and whatever you write in your message. The site doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking.

How I use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to manage that work. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, or taking steps towards a contract at your request. I don't sell your information or add you to mailing lists.

Who handles it

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, I keep records for as long as I need them for that work and for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email me and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
